this says it all... actual guy at SF war protest this last weekend. I'm pretty sure he was mocking the participants, but it's funny nonetheless... laugh.gif

I've seen that, it is pretty funny.

I heard on the radion this morning some guy who was interviewing some of the protesters, asking questions like "So, how long should we give Hussein to comply with weapns inspections?", and "how many Iraqi citizens must be gassed by their own leader before somebody tells tham that's not OK?"... lots of "um...." reactions.

We really should get this over with... heck, let's just bomb France and give them to Germany. Then everyone's happy.

No turning back. If war comes, make sure we support our troops in their services and sacrifices.

Iraq Rejects Demand for Saddam's Exile
By HAMZA HENDAWI, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq (news - web sites)'s leadership on Tuesday rejected the U.S. ultimatum that Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) and his sons leave Iraq or face war, and the United Nations (news - web sites) pulled its weapons inspection staff out of the country as battle appeared inevitable.

A defiant Saddam appeared Tuesday night on Iraqi television in military uniform, in what appeared to signal his role as defender of the nation. Saddam last appeared in a military uniform after the 1991 Gulf War (news - web sites).

Iraqi television and state radio called on Iraqis to demonstrate across the country to show their support for Saddam. ..................................

The news so far----10 PM Thurs. 3/20 is almost a miricle---too good to be true---BUT----if this is a sign of the way things are going, I hope those big mouth "war-monger" critics of our President get handed their heads!!! Our troops, our leadership and those who truly had faith should be applauded for their support and their TRUTH! Bless you all!!!

There are so much media coverage for Anti-war, so let's get something new:

Three of four Americans support war: poll
2 hours, 15 minutes ago Add U.S. National - AFP to My Yahoo!

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The number of Americans supporting the war against Iraq (news - web sites) has surged, with three out of four saying they approve the decision to attack, even though it did not have explicit UN backing, according to a poll out Friday.

The Gallup/USA Today poll showed that 76 percent of Americans supported US President George W. Bush (news - web sites)'s decision to launch the war Wednesday.

Only 15 percent of the 602 people interviewed Thursday said they strongly disapproved, and five percent disapproved but not strongly.

In early February, just 34 percent approved of launching the war without UN backing. That figure rose to 47 percent last weekend.

Support jumped to 66 percent following Monday's speech in which Bush gave Iraqi President Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) 48 hours to seek exile or face war.

About one third of respondents, 34 percent, believe the war will last one to three months. Twenty-seven percent expect it to last less than a month, 13 percent see it lasting four to eight months, and eight percent believe the war will go on for more than a year.

Just over half -- 52 percent -- believe the war will be a success if Saddam is removed, regardless of whether he is killed or captured, while 43 percent consider that victory depends on killing him.

The poll has a four percentage point margin of error.
