That could be trouble....BTW, percentage-wise, how many new homes are plumbed these days for gas dryers ??
Not many, I would guess, but I could be wrong, I suppose.

I think most are...

I'll never be able to sell it now that you forum rats have all taken a dump in it. Thanks a lot.

Quit whining. If it works well and if it's not too old and if you price it properly, you will sell it. I was just curious how many homes in general are plumbed for gas dryers?? You need to calm down, as usual.
I have opinions, you have opinions. We'll just call it even...is that OK ??

There is nothing wrong with Kenmore... It is a fine washer and dryer set.

Kenmore is Whirlpool and also now contracting with Maytag so they are practically all one in the same.

I have an 8 year old home - its plumbed with gas for my dryer - I'm one of the last Amish left I guess, I prefer a gas dryer over an electric one

Hey Darth Lefty - thats a helluva deal for those - don't let the turkey's get you down dude

they'll sell well - just wait

I think so, too....Not sure why he's in full panic mode. Maybe he needs one of these:

Darth Vader kinda has that effect on folks.... in a warm and fuzzy kinda smack ya upside the head way

I see Lefty's point, negative posts tend to deter potential buyers in a for sale thread

Ahhh, I doubt it. I wouldn't let measly comments by BarfVader sway me. In fact, my 20+ year old Maytag pair is probably due to blow up at some point fairly soon (although I have no real reason to expect it....they run great), so I'm sort of in the market to buy something if it's a good deal like this pair (but my dryer is electric...9 year old home in Broadstone).

But four out of five dental technicians prefere Colgate. At least that's what my TV told me.

Chip, I'm not in Panic mode, I'm in Pissed Off mode. But thanks for the backhanded kind wishes, I guess.

I had the 70 series for 17 years, they still worked fine when I upgraded to whatever Kenmore units I have now. Got a kid and needed larger capacity.

If you haven't sold them yet, you might try posting a picture of them with tear off phone numbers at the local laundrymat. Someone with a broken down set that is going there may want to snatch them up.

Whew, glad that's over. So what's next on the list?
