Whole Lotta Brews" is the premier beer tasting event in Folsom and will be an evening of beer and wine samplings from around the region along with gourmet food tastings from Whole Foods Market in-store vendors as well as local restaurants and caterers. The event features live music featuring the raw and sizzling sounds of The Old Screen Door. Their early influences are some of the greats: Tower of Power, Eatrh, Wind, & Fire, The Beatles, and RX Bandits.
This event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 18th 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Whole Foods Market Folsom located at 270 Palladio Dr in Folsom.
“Whole Lotta Brews” is a key fundraiser for the valuable work of The Partnership. “As part of our mission, we recognize our responsibility to be active participants in our local community. This is just our way of giving back” says Whole Foods Market Marketing Coordinator Ciara Varvas. Last year as the presenting sponsor, Whole Foods Market Folsom raised over $15,000.oo to support the mission of the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership. The Partnership provides an array of programs targeted at reducing the risk of child abuse and neglect as well as impacting generational cycles of poverty. "Each year we provide parent education and support, safe youth activities, employment services and safety-net services to over 5,000 children, youth and adults in our local community," says Executive Director Robert Sanger, "We offer a wide range of services in one place to best serve families through a Family Resource Center environment."
For $30.00 per person in advance and $40.00 at the door, you will experience unlimited (Tokenless) tastings from our food and beverage vendors.
