Congrats to LT for winning this week's pool!

Let me dip into the grab bag and see what we've got for you.

This is the final week of the season, and thus, the pool.

Erik Brown is still in the lead, and has and pretty good chance at winning the grand prize, a flat screen TV, but as we've seen before, 1 week can make a big difference.

This week's picks might be a little tougher than most, with spoilers playing for pride, some playoff teams possibly holding out their star players, while others are trying to get some momentum going.

The first game this week is Saturday, so you have until then to get your picks in.

Here's how the top 10 in standings look today:

W L %
1 brown 166 74 69.17%
2 scotty 159 81 66.25%
3 The_Mutant 156 84 65.00%
4 johnnyboy 155 85 64.58%
5 rsliger 154 86 64.17%
6 stangage70 153 87 63.75%
7 WildSeaPack 149 91 62.08%
8 USCTrojan 145 95 60.42%
9 GaryD 143 97 59.58%
10 Steve Heard 143 97 59.58%

Well, it looks like none other than you, my friend! Congrats on winning Steve and Steve's Bentley Mortgage NFL Pickem' Pool Spectacular 2007, or whatever we called it.

Very impressive!

So, Erik wins a flat screen TV which we'll have in a couple of weeks. We'll have a loser's drawing for some sort of booby prize, too.

Thanks to everyone who participated.

Here are the final top ten standings:

1 brown 178 78 69.53%
2 scotty 169 87 66.02%
3 johnnyboy 164 92 64.06%

So, does any part of your pool extend into the playoffs? What a great weekend of football. The teams I wanted to win, did! The teams I wanted to lose,(Cowboys and Colts) did! Next week's games in Green Bay and Foxboro should be fantastic. I'm going to go way out on a limb and predict a Packer-Patriots Superbowl. tongue.gif It couldn't get any better than that.

Phhht! Too bad about the Cowboys, but the Packers will kill the Giants off for me! On Wisconsin, On Wisconsin, grand old badger state.

No, sorry, the pool was just for the regualr season. Not enough games to make a pool.

It was a great weekend of football. I was thrilled to see the Cowboys lose!
