This is really cool. I was looking into doing something this weekend, possibly Friday. Do I need to make an appointment with you?

First of all thank you - this is cool. I'm turning the tables on the aggressive salesmen tactics. Call me at 916-667-1683. We can set
Up a time to go over what you're trying to achieve. I have my office or we can do a good portion of the legwork over the phone to save you time during your day. Whatever your more comfortable with. This is going to be an amazing experience. Talk to you soon!
Regards, John

Interesting. Do you buy the car on behalf of the consumer for a fee, or act as their agent?

Hi Steve, Great question. In essence I do all the leg work. I do as much or as little as requested. If it's just pricing I do that. If the customer wants to not step foot on the lot, I facilitate every aspect of the purchase including having the car delivered right to their door. Every customer is different as far as their limits. It's very outside the box. I go with them sometimes and sometimes I broker the entire deal on their behalf where they just sign the paperwork.
The reality I have always found is that there are probably one out of a hundred people that actually like to car shop. I fill in the gaps. with insider
Hope that answers your question. I work for the consumer...for a fee, acting as their agent...

I did this myself with my last purchase. I didnt negotiate at all. Faxed my offer to various dealers until I got a bite & accepted my offer. Went to dealer, paid & drove off. It was super simple. Painless.
You dont need to pay a middle man unless you want to (great idea OP).
However, if I can do it myself, anyone can.

I probably could have saved you quite a bit more. But a deal is in the eye of the beholder- you probably did great

Maybe, but that was back in 2008. I was looking for my file but cant find it right now; I did a lot of research with the various services available at that time, and got a much better deal than what was currently being offered, even through places like Costco. I know the dealer sure was surprised.

There are some really good buying programs out there. And there are people that are on the ball like yourself. Costco is a great resource and a great deal. I won't say I can do better (but I can)- I appreciate the feedback. If you are ever in the market again, look me up. I love the challenge of even taking a look at deals people have on the table and saving them even more money. That's one of my services as well.
There are just people that are apoplectic about dealing with the sales tactics and aggressiveness of the process. That's where I come in. I've been on the sales side and I know some things that would turn your toes...

Hi John
I'm not sure why someone has not thought about this sooner! I hate going to a dealership I almost get sick as soon as I walk up to the car lot. I'd love the idea of getting into a vehicle without dealing with well as what their referred to as, Voltures lol...But, actually I am looking for a vehicle for my daughter. So if you could get me a better deal then shoot why not try it? I will be texting you from a 209 number thank you, Christina
