I bought this game at target this weekend. it's only $19.95 and it is really good. It's cheap b/c they are trying to get an edge on the Madden franchise. What a deal!

Yeah. A friend of mine picked up 2K5 over the weekend and seems to have trouble with the gameplay. (mostly knowing when to kneel and run the clock down, rather than throwing an interception returned for a 80+ yd game winning TD)
Anyway, 2k5 has come a long way and the price can't be beat. The addition of Franchise Mode definitely ups its potential, but I'm gonna have to say that Madden 2005 is still the leader. I picked up the "Collectors Edition" over the weekend. This game rocks! You can even play the old 16bit version of the game.
