We went to Karen's yesterday for lunch and saw it was closed. Saw the sign. Is someone going to build something in there? I think it will hurt
Karen's business and others there in that area. I know there is a parking garage nearby, but???

It's private property the city had been leasing during the redevelopment of Sutter Street and construction on the railroad block. They don't have the Redevelopment funding any more, so they ended their lease.
