WOW, it really has been nice this past week.

I don't know how much rain we have gotten but hope it continues.

We sure can use it.

Wish they could send water back and forth across the USA and down from Canada

via the PIPELINE....

Take the flood waters from one area and send it to an area that needs it.

YES, it would be expensive, but think about the Government. They blow money all over the place.

 From Channel 10 news...

Drought outlook shows some improvement

Weather systems are finally lining up in the Pacific and moving through the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys, while surrounding the Sierra.

The recent storms have brought more rain than last year at this time, but much of California remains in extreme and exceptional drought.

The key to the state's drought relief comes down to the amount of snow in the Sierra. The 8-station index in the Northern Sierra is running just slightly below average. The snowpack from these areas fill reservoirs during the spring snow melt.

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-
