Stupid article. Unless they give the number of offenders per 1000 residents, it is meaningless data.

Raw numbers are not meaningless. Using numbers for ratios or comparisons are the only reason to require a per/1k pop.
I would rather have seen the numbers broken down by type of pervert in each county. That would have given us a better handle on just how safe our children are in each county.
