We have a monkey playing with matches inside a TNT factory:
Donald Trump

National debt at highest level since after WWII

Despite President Trump's declaration that he would eliminate the national debt over eight years, the debt-to-Gross Domestic Product ratio has reached its highest level since after World War II

Since when are you democrats concerned about debt...?   Only when the Republicans are in control...........   Sad...   You dig an enormous financial hole in the ground and complain when Republicans try and undo just a little bit of your economic damage..........    Not falling for it anymore, neither are the American people.  Thus Trump will be your POTUS for 8, Eight, a big 8 long years....!   Oh the joy....!   Chris

Your man Obummer aquired more debt for our kids than all other presidents combined.  With a dem controlled Congress...  Perhaps you should sit this one out...

$75 billion dollar tax deficit, thanks to Trump tax cuts.
Answer truthfully:
  - Who do you think will have to pay to make up the deficit,
[  ] The very wealthy?     :beverage:      or
     [  ] the hard-working middle-class taxpayer?

Let's see if the Trump Cult culprits will be honest about this one!

U.S. Government Revenues Drop in Wake of Tax Cuts Treasury Department said corporate-tax payments fell by 33% in June compared with a year earlier

Corporations taking advantage of new, lower tax rates reduced their payments to the federal government last month. The Treasury Department on Thursday said government receipts fell 7% in June compared with the same month a year earlier, including a 33% drop in gross corporate taxes.

Vinny, this is the answer to your "honesty" request. But you probably won't acknowledge it.

Obama made the statement that he was justified in raising the debt because he had been given a mess, with the poor economy, when he got into office.

An "honest" person would acknowledge Trump had the same mess to deal with, because of Obama's failed policies.

In his last days in the White House, George Bush heard from the banks that they would not open on the next Monday

because of the financial collapse.

Bush asked for $ 1 TRILLION immediately to save the economy, no questions asked.
That in no way compares to the steady, progressive economic situation that Obama left behind.

Sorry - but your contention of a comparison to Obama is absolutely ludicrous.  :joker:

Any intelligent person would know this if they expanded their awareness

one step beyond the propaganda spewing forth from Fox News.

As we approach the unveiling of the deceit supporting Trump house of cards, it would be wise for the Trump cultists

to regroup and rethink their strategy, and perhaps stock up their bomb shelters and count the ammunition.

Sorry- but any intelligent person would realize National Debt has ALWAYS been paid for by the working class. No big news here. But, you won't have to worry about your buddies. They don't work, and they don't pay taxes.

Further, the trouble with Bush and Obama was they didn't care about creating jobs to get the economy moving again. Any idiot knows one has to have a good employment base in a country, to keep it solvent.  Period.

Bush was just interested in his war and Obama was just interested in spreading the wealth and Universal Health care.

Notice, I'm not sticking to the old standard of not criticizing a Republican. I'm looking at the facts.

Any HONEST person would be fair and criticize the guilty party, no matter the party affiliation. You are clearly so bias, you're blinded to the fact that this is not a football game, where one defends their team...no matter what. And you suggest that I expand my awareness??? Everything you paste up here comes straight from the Liberal News you watch every day!

Trump will be our president for some time.  You better buckle up! :drive:

National Debt has ALWAYS been paid for by the working class. No big news here.

Let me see if I've got your reasoning correctly.

Trump passes a $1.3 TRILLION tax cut.

14% of that goes to working Americans.

86% goes to the top 1%           :beverage:

And you think it's OK that the middle class (i.e., not the wealthy) make up the tax deficit?  :CRAZYLOCO:

I can only guess that you are in the top 1%, you have no sense of fairness, OR

you are blindly devoted to an amateur economist for a hero.  (or all three).      :loco:

Just doesn't seem to work for me.

Notice I didn't assume to call anyone biased, idiotic, or buddies with any one class of people.

Oh, and BTW, the country sees little increase in jobs, NO increase in wages,

and companies continue to ship jobs overseas.

Why are you Libs all of a sudden so concerned about the economy and the debt?  You didn't say a word during the Obama 8 years of financial disaster and doubling of the debt. Why? Explain.

What don't you conservative fools get. Yes the national debt stood at 10.6 trillion when Obama took over and was at 19.5 trillion when he left office and Chump took over. In the short (actually very very long) 16 months Chumps been in office the national debt has skyrocketed to 21.5 trillion. At this rate, Chump is actually on pace to exceed what Obama left. Sorry to use math for you right wing radicals, it might be hard for you to understand. And with this "tax whatever it was" debacle, the debt is expected to grow much much more.
