Try El Rey, next to Gold Mine Cafe on E. Bidwell. The food is excellent!

If you want a decent atmosphere-type place, I'd go to Chevy's in Gold River. That's a place everyone would like when you have a semi-large group of people. It's not too far, either. cheers.gif
I have opinions, you have opinions. We'll just call it even...is that OK ??

It's actually El Rey. We tried it recently and thought it was just okay.

I second El Rincon (owner is so nice, too), and La Fiesta. We tried Los Cerros and it was okay.

Thanks -- went back and edited it. My mind was out to lunch when I posted.

We've been to El Rey several times and have always found the food to be outstanding, and for very reasonable prices. We also enjoy La Fiesta, but I find El Rey to be more flavorful.

Taqueria la Mexicana... my sister in law and her husband opened it, they are really great!! Its on Iron Point in front of the outlets and next to Savvy Fitness, (I believe thats what the gym is called) The old Sharkeys location.

The food is good, prices are good, very nice environment, CLEAN, a salsa bar, A flat screen tv on the wall.. very nice!!

Anyways, ask for Danny and let him know his brother in law Adam sent you to try the place out..

Good luck on finding a nice place to eat for you and your 9 guests.. =)
