Which would you prefer, a doctor telling you your chances of survival were very few or none?

Or, how about, you're at a gathering and the host annouces, "A very few people here will each be given a million dollars?" or would you prefer "None of you get a million dollars?"

This has gotten a bit out of hand...it was just meant to be a joke. I didn't mean any offense, CV. My reference to "tall buildings" was based on other posts you've made in the past which seem to indicate that you have an interest in skyscrapers. cheers.gif

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

I want a new arena, I'm just too cheap to pay for it (I don't watch that much sports).

I also want high rise towers, but I'm not paying for them either. I just think they're neat to look at and hope someone builds some.

I also want the new airport terminal (that looks neat!), but I hope I don't have to pay too much for that one. I understand the county is gonna bond part of that.

Now if we can only get the lightrail to the airport...

What? They think that Sacramentans might actually vote to pay for lightrail out there? I really wish they would; there's nothing easier than hopping on the lightrail with your suitcase to get to the airport. No parking problems, no traffic problems. Ahh.
