Just because nobody else is going to put their career on the line doesn't mean nobody believes him.
Robert, you clearly have an axe to grind against professional sports for some reason, and I think it clouds your judgement. I think you'd rather a Bass Pro Shop go up downtown and the Kings leave for greener pastures. Tell me I'm wrong.
John, I'd rather the Bass Pro Shops be built in Folsom as it will be a huge source of revenue! I tried to do that about 12 years ago.
I am a Kings fan and feel they are on the right path to getting back to possibly winning again. If Boston can add 2 players and win it all so can the Kings! The Kings are a lot closer than now than Boston was last year, so I am optimistic. If they can keep Artest's head on and pick up a real stud, who wants to win, they will be winners again.
I never believed the Kings with Weber would ever win it all despite his talents. Even if the Kings beat LA, I could just see them loosing to the Nets even though the Kings were the better team.
My axe to grind was/is with BOS and Sac City who were pulling the wool over peoples eyes over their real intent regarding the Arena, which was to raise taxes county wide and route the money to back themselves, to pay for their failed social policies.
It was disappointing to see so many on here be so gullible as to what was the real agenda regarding this. My continued sarcasm of this is simply these politicians are desperately plotting to get others to pay for their failures. Don't be surprsied if they don't come up with some touchy feel good idea how to raise your taxes again in November. Unlike the City of Folsom, the BOS and Sac City are facing huge deficits and its their inherrent philosophy to get others to pay for what they want.
My message is don't be so gullible that you believe convicted felons regarding issues you have an emotional connection too AND don't believe LIBERAL politicians when they want to raise your taxes.
Until we hold politicians accountable on how they spend our tax dollars they will NEVER have enough!
