I wonder how prevalent this is? Does it happen a lot and they just don't get caught?

High school students caught up in Fairfield grade-changing scandal

FAIRFIELD - School administrators are investigating a grade-changing scandal involving at least seven students at Armijo High School-- and they say there's no indication the students had anything to do with it.

Student body president and homecoming queen Lauren Seabrooks, an otherwise straight-A student, said she was surprised when the coordinator of the honors program approached her on Oct. 10 to say the three B's she received in her freshman and sophomore years would be changed to A's because of some personal struggles she had endured.

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-
