The Folsom Rotary Foundation is seeking public input and ideas for a major community project.

They are looking for something in the $50,000 to $75,000 range.

Any ideas?

community garden?  here is another idea that is a bit odd, but would be awesome....bat habitat on the underside of one of the bridges (they eat mosquitoes and are losing habitat in Folsom).  helps reduce west nile virus.

How about some general cleanup and tree planting of Theodore Judah?

I'm not sure if volunteers would run this, but it would be fun to have hands-on Gold Rush-era activities such as panning for gold, making candles, etc. Think Columbia, CA, which a lot of tourists who visit our area won't get to visit. Once established, tourists would pay to partake.

I suggest that you look into a device that improves CPR and greatly improves patient outcomes. My Fre Dept. had a Auto Pulse CPR device made by Zoll,  donated by a civic group approx. ten years ago. This device allows for a more affective chest compression then any human can give. We have placed this device on all of our ambulances and now have one of the best Patient save rates in the country. I would be more then happy to give you more info. I am NOT a Zoll sales person. Lots of info on-line

P.S. Folsom Fire might  have this or a similar device already if so ......... Never mind

I'd like to see a city-wide art project, something similar to the 'Cows on Parade' project, or 'Guitars in Austin'.  http://www.publicart...-for-charities/
