OK, who's throwing together a pool? Can someone set it up like we did for that NFL thing about a year ago? I would think either ESPN.com or Sportsline would offer it.

I just received an email from my fantasy football site (Sportsline) that they are offering a free NCAA bracket manager. I can look into setting it up if people are interested.

Go for it Tony. CBS Sportsline usually has one that is simple to manage.

I'll join if anyone sets it up... but if money is involved, then no. I'm usually guessing anyway!

No money (the money pot will be at work).

Ken, can you set that up? Sportsline did well with that football pool in '05.

I created an account. Since I had to enter at least one email address, John will get an email invite. For everyone else, use the link below to join:

I kept the default scoring system. It is simply one point per correct pick throughout all the rounds with no bonus. They have other options that I can setup if desired. I can change the points earned per round and also give weights to the points based on the team seed.

The Bracket Manager product allows several different scoring options. Using the Weight option, you can enter a value for each correct pick for each of the rounds. If you want all correct picks to be worth one point, just enter 1 for each round in the Weight column. The Bonus column allows you to select:

No Bonus - Only the input weight value will be credited for a winning pick.

Add Seed - The seed of the winning team is added to the correct pick total.
Ex. If the 12th seed wins and your weight is 1, then 13 points would be credited for the Win.

Multiply Seed - The seed of the winning team is multiplied by the correct pick total. Ex. If the 12th Seed Wins and your weight is 2 then 24 points would be credited for the Win.

I don't care if I win. As long as I come in higher than nhardy, it's all good.

I'm in it to win it.

Go Badgers! (Not upset that they lost to Ohio State. I'd rather not be the #1 seed.)

Sorry to say they appear to be fading, CW, at just the wrong time of the season.

It wasn't good that Brian Butch got hurt. He *might* be available if the Badgers can move along in the tourney. They got a decent draw.

Texas A&M CC in round 1.
Either UNLV or Georgia Tech in round 2.
Probably ND or Oregon in round 3.

There is still a chance. OSU just has their number. Two of the Badgers 5 losses are against OSU. Let's just hope we won't have to face them in the Final Four. biggrin.gif

Badgers also play in Chicago... only 100 miles from Madison. Makes travel very easy.

Either Kansas or Georgetown will win it all... but of course I am hoping for Wisconsin!

Georgetown? You can get some pretty good odds at the sports book on that pick.

Actually they are the 5th most favored team right now. Not the best odds. Maybe a pick like University of Albany would get me some "pretty good odds".
