We(FirstStep Marketing of Grnaite Bay Jr. Grizzlies and Honey Festival fame) are shooting a promotional video on the morning of December 18, 2010 at a Sacramento location TBA. We are promoting our upcoming NorCal Sings! singing competition (www.norcalsings.com) and our beneficiary, VH1's Save the Music Foundation. Looking for singers, (especially last year's competitors and those planning on participating this year), choreographed dancers and members of the crowd. Christmas costumes are good, the video consists of singing Christmas songs. Please write back ASAP if interested (jim_crosthwaite@yahoo.com). We plan on using this video on the web, on television and in all our promotional materials. Participation is voluntary, there is no pay. Here are two examples of related videos, just to give you an idea of where we are headed:

Have you seen "Dancing With The Stars"? That doesn't stop them.

Yes - I really enjoyed that.See the FM on Modern Family the other night? Awesome.
No I mean I really can't dance or sing. I always thought I was an ok singer - until my wife told me otherwise. Hey! I was in High School choir and an alternate in Junior College choir! For some reason I didn't get the message that being an alternate in a junior college choir meant someone had to die before they would let you sing with them in public. I also found out that when I am singing loud and proud in church and the people in front of me turn around to see who is singing behind them - it's not "happiness to see me".Have you seen "Dancing With The Stars"? That doesn't stop them.
I have found an outlet for my music fix though. I joined a ukulele club - ukulele club is a "no cut "club. Kind of like cross country.
