Thanks for confirming this and sharing the photos.  My wife and I were walking that area with the dogs that same night, and when i shined the flashlight out in the marsh area,  we saw two sets of wide glowing eyes peering back at us about 50 yards out.

Only seeing the eyes and body shape, It seemed smaller than the coyote, closer to the size of a fox (we were thinking) with ears sticking up and the body length was low slung.  We were not sure at the time, went home wondering what the heck we saw.  Hopefully they can survive out there and be left alone and not disturbed by invading humans and dwellings in the area  :)

My friend and I were out on a ride tonight on the Parkway and there were a few signs posted warning that there have been recent mountain lion sightings.

The mountain lion sightings were on an the American River Parkway part of the trail not the part that runs through the residential Parkway neighborhood, right?!

Nice one! I saw a kitfox with a gopher or something in his mouth crossing the bike trail a few years ago. That was neato.

Came across a Bobcat on the Parkway Bike Trail.      Wonder if Photoshop can make the Bobcat look more ferocious.

I was hoping the Bobcat would hiss at me and show it's fangs!    Still waiting for the Mountain Lion shot.

Saw one up by the Salmon Falls trail on Tuesday.  Seemed pretty nonchalant about seeing me.   Just wandered off into the bushes.

several mornings in a row now, outside the neighbors house two big black bunnies (not jack rabbits) have been hanging around. Im surprised they have lasted as long as they did. The coyotes has been negligent on his duties in our neighbor hood this week.
