HANDS4HOPE'S 2ND ANNUAL HAUNTED HOUSE IN EL DORADO HILLS

WHAT: The public is invited to “saunter in” to a 2600-square foot Old West Ghost Town created in the “New Orleans” building of Town Center, near Target and the Regal Movie Theater, just off Highway 50 in El Dorado Hills.

A team of more than 25 volunteers have spent 3 months designing, building and decorating the amazing venue, which includes extravagant moving props such as a Crumbling Mine Shaft with shaking floors and walls and a huge 4-foot spider that spins a web around a skull. Other uniquely haunting design features include a haunted saloon, working undertaker and good old fashioned slaughter house.

Last year’s Hands4Hope “Haunted Hotel” was called one of the spookiest and most professional haunted houses in the Greater Sacramento area, with more than 2500 visitors from as far away as the Bay Area surviving the experience.

The popular event, a major fundraiser for the group’s numerous community outreach programs, will be fun for all ages. Young children will be guided through the Ghost Town by a fairy that will use her magic wand to make all the spooks go away. There also will be a special exit for guests who want to “get outta town” before the gorier or more frightening parts.

Fun, family-style carnival games and concessions will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during the Haunted House.
