Attention all mexican food lovers...tucked away in a small shopping center on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights is a small, casual, family freindly restaurant that serves homestyle, traditional mexican food.

While the food is very inexpensive, we have found that the portions are generous and the dishes are very flavorful. Having come from Southern California and being "spoiled" by traditional mexican food, this was such a treat for us to find.

You will find that the staff is very friendly and that they are very open to substitutions on the menu items.

I encourage you to give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

Right near there is ANOTHER great place called Valencia's. That even tinier restaurant also has a Mexican grocery store attached.
