Maybe the people of Folsom can put some pennies together and purchase one and bring it to Folsom. Start a space museum and charge $20 a person to go in and see it.

And call it the Johnny Cash Space Shuttle Memorial Museum laugh.gif
I would rather be Backpacking

Now that's funny! Good one...I could get behind that museum!

I met Sally Ride at the Sacramento Speaker's Series last spring and she not only gave a phenomenal slide show and presentation, but seemed giddy over the new replacement to the Shuttle...her enthusiasm actually sparked a renewed interest in the space program for me! Which I think was her intent- to get the audience excited about science...

Here's another good article about the shuttle & replacement...I sure hope it isn't delayed too much. http://www.space.com...rement-cbo.html

I was also lucky to see the last Shuttle launch in November from a distance when I was visiting Naples, Florida. It really is a sight to see!
