Events for November 18, 2016

The next art show at the Gallery at 48 Natoma in Folsom will feature a wonderful exhibit of acclaimed, published children’s book illustrators. The exhibit, “The Art of Illustration,” includes art by Carol Benioff, Jinwoo Kim and Isabella Kung and opens November 18, 2016 and continues through January 12, 2017.
 
In the adjacent Community Gallery at 48 Natoma, over 200 photographs in the 10th Annual Folsom Focus Photography Contest will be on display.
 
The public is invited to celebrate both exhibits at the free opening reception on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00, with refreshments, wine and live jazz guitar music by Daniel Roest and Francesca Anderson. 
 
An additional treat the evening of the opening reception will feature a special Holiday Fine Art Sale with artists from the Art Center displaying and selling craft items just in time for gift-giving!
 

The award-winning Folsom High School Jazz Bands and Choir

The award-willing Folsom High School Jazz Bands and Choir will perform at the 21st Annual Folsom Crab Feed and Auction on Friday, November 18 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Folsom Community Center.  Live auction, raffle, and our popular Wall of Wine will be held throughout the evening featuring many exciting items, including vacation getaways and entertainment packages.  Tickets for the evening of live jazz music, a delicious crab dinner and the auction raffle can be purchased online at www.folsommusic.org .  Pricing is $50/General with a 10% discount for $45/early bird on or before November 11.  Use discount code CF2016.  Reserved seating tables are also available.  All proceeds from this event benefit Folsom High School's award-winning music program.
