I love learning about local history, but this is a little much. I used to walk by the house when I worked in mid-town. We used to see lots of weird stuff on our walks (not specifically about that house, though)

Yep,
I'm a long time resident of the greater Sacramento area.
Remember the "Thrill Killer"?
I was in the selection pool for his Jury, however, I wasn't selected.

I remember Dorothea Puente. I was a kid at the time and it was a big deal to us. It was like a real life horror movie happening in our town!

I was in high school in Grass Valley at the time, but I remember this case well. I didn't know she fled and they had to search for her, though.

My best friend in high school's dad was her defense attorney.
The courtroom sketch of them that hung in his home office always creeped me out.
