I had the great fortune of checking out the Sutter Street Theater's production of the Mel Brooks musical, The Producers last Friday night.

That is one hilarious show! If you haven't seen it, go!

I believe it is still playing the next 2 weekends.

If you haven't been to the Sutter Street Theater, you owe it to yourself to go. It is a great asset to our community and they put on really great entertainment.

The theater only seats about 50 people (dress lightly and/or bring a fan, as it can get warm with all of those bodies in there), and you are right up close to the action. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of restaurants and bars for before or after, and lots of folks head down to Snooks during intermission.

All in all, a great night out on the town.

I agree, Steve. Love that theater! It's so fun!!! They always do a special christmas show too, very homey.
