Well that explains why I like them then. The place that ruined thai for me was Thai Basil....never was much of a fan anyways.


which one was Thai Basil? Was that the one over by Blue Ravine and E. Bidwell? I wasn't crazy about that one either.

I don't know. Maybe. they are all over Sacramento....J St, Elk Grove, Natomas....probably in Folsom too at one time

Oh yeah, I know the one on J Street. very good, but that place gets hot or steamy on warm days. must be something about how their kitchen is ventilated.

That was Thai Ginger when it was just a Thai restaurant.
I don't believe Thai Basil was ever in Folsom.

I don't believe Thai Basil was ever in Folsom.

I think a few years ago Thai Basil was in where the Folsom Beer Garden Grill is currently located. I've always like that restaurant a lot.

That was Aramin Thai, which also had a downtown location...
I enjoyed it a few times too.

had dinner there last night, hope the community supports it. the calmary was the best I have had in a while, its usually kinda rubbery but last night it was crisp and tender. service was good too. Had drunken noodles mild with shrimp and the wife had pad thi which she said was excellent.

yes, I don't think people realize how good this place is. I think its exceptional!
