Thanksgiving is in 12 more days, then Christmas in 41 days.
All I have to say is
WHERE DID 2009 GO?
It seemed like yesterday it was New Years.

You must be a young one just entering adulthood. Guess what, next year will fly by even faster. Sorry to break the news to you, but it's a never ending spiral, as you get older, the years get shorter.
I remember when I was in my mid twenties, seemed like turning 40 was eons away. Turning 40 for me was a decade ago, and it seems like it wasn't that long ago the Y2K non-crisis was upon us. I realize that before I know it, my son will be graduating a little over a decade from now and I'll wonder where those 10 years went.
Better get used to it, cuz it ain't gonna change.

With Christmas music already playing non-stop at my store as of last week, I know we're upon the end of the year.

Peppermint Patty: [on the phone, to Marcy] Marcy, what book were we supposed to read during Thanksgiving Vacation?
Marcy: This is Christmas Vacation, Sir.
Peppermint Patty: Christmas Vacation? How can I read something during Christmas Vacation, when I didn't read what I was supposed to read during Thanksgiving Vacation?
Marcy: Duck, Sir. Easter is coming

You don't watch or read Charlie Brown very much? Do you?
Peppermint Patty always calls Charlie Brown, Chuck.

No, I actually really disliked the show-when I was a kid.
Found it quite annoying.
I was actually being literal when I said--I like peppermint patties.

I know you were, but I chose to be funny and not take it that way.
I'm also pretty sure you aren't gay, but I didn't let that stop me from trying to be funny.
I'm sorry you don't like Charlie Brown or my depraved sense of humour.
