That is a good point and this is where the problem may lie. If you actually LOGOUT out of the Mrs account before you su=ync yours, maybe just maybe, the system will not import her songs into yours or vise versa.

How is that ilegal if you have the same credit cards?
RIAA individual license copyrights for digital media.

The RIAA needs to work with Apple/Itunes to make this problem of syncing with multiple usre accounts much more user friendly.

The RIAA is the one forcing Apple to make it difficult.

Probably because the RIAA has lined the pockets of our politicians. I think it is fair use.

wrong, you don't need to buy a song twice if you have two iPods

Nope...
We have 4 ipods in our house... and none of us listen to the same music. All 4 ipods are set up to be managed manually. There is never any syncing going on. All media files are stored on a external HD.

If YOU have two iPods. If "you" (the plural form) each have iPods, the RIAA legally requires you each purchase your own content. I know, it's stupid and nobody follows it, but it is the copyright law. I hate the RIAA.

you burn cd's everytime you want to load your ipod? it'd be much easier to digitize your entire music collection instead of doing it piece meal per need.
