Are those all rocks you found while landscaping your yard or did you have to search them out and collect them?

Did it take forever?

Nicely done. Hopefully, I'll be putting in the photonias in the near future.

Did it take forever? No, we started 3 years ago with a barren yard. Things just grew very quickly...amazingly so. But I do know a certain amount about gardening.

We searched for rocks all over Folsom. Generally we went to where new construction was going on to find the rocks that were brought up by the tractors, etc. We got some from in back of Safeway, for instance. But mostly we would go to vacant lots and construction sites and haul them home in the trunk of the car or in a pick up truck.

The matching red rocks in the front yard, which are now a planter with small water fall, came from freecycle on line. We had to pick them up is all.

We have only lived here since Dec. 12, 2002, but have worked on the yard most every weekend.

LOL...there was a poster here in the past using the name "shred." We did take a weekend off and go work in their yard....mostly just clearing and sharing ideas. They took us out to dinner.

Yes, CV, the small rocks in the dry creek bed between ponds are the rocks you gave to us, but did not deliver dry.gif

But they all got put to use.
