Went to Zocalo tonight. Was going to go to Dragonfly but this place was so much more happening and had a lot of people sitting outside. Great mexican food, great ambiance... Beers cost $5 each but we kinda expected as much. Thumbs up from me!

I was there for lunch today. Been there many times. It's hit or miss. Today, my salad w/grilled chicken was bland. Asked for more bean dip. It never came.
Had a great skirt steak there a time or two.
Margaritas are always good, but expensive.
As for the $5 beer, isn't that the same everywhere?

I credit Zocalo's chicken mole enchiladas and their best-ever assortment of chip dip combo for directly contributing to the increased tightness of my pants. I work near there so its one of our favorite lunch spots.

No worries. I remember when you could get a beer for fifty cents.
I remember the first time I paid $3 for a drink.
Snickers and M&M's were a nickel.
Movie ticket, 75 cents.
Damn I'm old.
