Hi everyone,
Just wanted to get the word out again about the Folsom Police Foundation/Folsom Police Officers Association fund raiser BBQ in two weeks. Its Saturday August 29th, 10 am to 2 pm at Lions Park (right by the gazebo at the entrance to the zoo).
The police will be bbqing hamburgers and hot dogs served with salads and drinks.
Adult tickets are $10, teenagers, $5 and kids 12 and under eat free!
Plus you can use your ticket that day for 50% off zoo admission. That's pretty cool!
And the police dogs will be doing special demonstrations The police horses will be there. People can challenge the police to tug of wars.
The most important thing: this will raise funds for local Folsom youth programs that the police do for community outreach, including summer camps for at-risk kids and the Christmas basket, to name a few.
So get the family together, feed the kids and then go take advantage of half-off admission to the zoo for the whole family!
