It's weird that restaurants are closed on Christmas.

On Christmas, you open the presents in the morning, see a movie in the afternoon. The natural thing in the evening is to go out for dinner.

The purpose is to give restaurant workers the opportunity to celebrate. We usually go to an Asian restaurant on Xmas day if we get bored.

Oh, all the great restaurants at Thunder Valley will be open Christmas. I just went to Shanghai Fats and it was phenomenal!

Isn't it funny that people love to have the time off at Christmas, but expect restaurants to open to serve them which of course means someone is working(not able to spend time with their families)so someone else can enjoy a meal that they could have fixed at home. Maybe if we all spent time with our families at home cooking our own meals and watching our own movies, making it possible for others working able to spend time with their families. Just a silly thought. but I never go any place on Christmas, gas, food, movies or any place requiring service from another person.

I'll now step off my soap box
