Well, after helping cats cross the street and getting old ladies out of trees, a kid's gotta cut loose some time.

Back on topic, I always liked the lyrics to the "I Dream of Jeanie" theme song:

Well okay. That song was an instrumental, but *if* it had lyrics, those would be them. See, I was a bored child, so I used to write lyrics for sitcom theme songs in my head. I consider my "Hogan's Heroes" lyrics my unfinished masterpiece, but nothing really rhymes with "Nuremburg Trials", so I'm at something of a stopping point on that one. Some day though... some day

PS-Whenever we get an old lady stuck in our tree, we just turn the hose on her...they jump down and wander home...they really are harmless....

God, how I love that song! When my son was fifteen, he experienced a terrible crisis and nightmare which devastated our whole family. That song had just come out. I spent many, many a time in my car listening to it as tears ran down my face. It was so painful but the lyrics were so hopeful...still one of the my favorites of all time.
