Most of you had/have kids that were young... So tell me:
At what age do boys start to like girls?
And for that matter, when do girls start liking boys?

as the father of 4 girls, I hope never.
Or at least not until I've arranged their marriages

Does that count? The daycare provider said it was cute, the two of them were doing that raspberry thing and kept leaning closer to each other until their lips met.
OK, maybe that doesn't count.
But I do see some of the girls flirting with my son at Kindergarten and he gets embarrassed.
He says he doesn't have a girlfriend when we ask him, but I think he has a part of him that does like them, but He can't admit it to the other boys.
I know I had a crush on a chinese girl in Kindergarten that persisted until Junior High. So I think I was attracted to the opposite sex starting in Kindergarten. I remember another crush I had that made me jump out of line and kiss this girls hair in 1st or 2nd grade.

I would walk her home after school hand in hand - -
Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

You really need to start watching out in 6th grade because they start to get more brave. Earlier they're too embarrassed to talk about it, then suddenly one guy talks to his friend who tells the girl's friend that the first guy likes her. Then, the liked-girl gets to respond through her friend to the guy's friend. Sometimes they even "go together" in that manner.
Not long after that sort of thing starts happening you may start to see some very brazen contacts. Girls these days go after boys they like with some real aggressiveness. At that point, don't leave your son alone with any of them (until after the marriage is arranged ).

He stunned the teacher with a story he had made up.
She was particularly stunned to see that the most detailed part of the story was the physical attributes of a girl--which was spot on--for the girl that sat right next to him.
"she had long flowing carmel hair"
ha ha ha
The girl was immediately moved to another desk. At least we finally figured out what was distracting him in class!!

Remember, nearly half of 10-year olds have tasted alcohol, and pregnancy rates in pre-teens are going back up since the Feds imposed Abstinence-only education.
