I have been a fan of Annie's Breakfast and steaks since it first opened over 15 years ago. Their home style food is great but I am here to talk about the clam chowder on Fridays. It is some of the best clam chowder I have tasted in the area.

My Dad moved down from Oregon about 7 years ago and is a regular at Annie's. He loves the meat loaf and the BBQ ribs. We both had the ribs on Father's day this year. They have a great inexpensive breakfast menu. The biscuits and gravy are very good but I like the chicken fried steak the best.

One of the best things about Annie's is their hospitality. Everyone who works there knows my dad by name. They have been very good to him since my mother died. They have made him part of the family. More than a restaurant, a local hang out to be sure.

They also have a room that can be used for meetings.
