Why?

Had a friend bail off an overpass and then witnessed a head-on down Grantline (idiot cut the white line in the blindspot of a turning SUV)

That, and the wife won't let me tongue.gif I'm still trying to convince her to let me go skydiving again!

The OP beat me to the punch! I was just thinking that we need a thread like this. I don't have pictures readily available, but my previous rides have been:

97 HD Sportster
97 Buell M2 Cyclone
98 BMW R1200C
2002 BMW R1150R

My current (and favorite so far) ride is an 05 HD Superglide Custom.

I'm actually going to be taking off for a 3 day ride on Saturday. I can't wait!

hey Chris,

That CB350G project bike looks like fun, enjoyed viewing the pics on that forum. That is absolutely amazing that you found a brand new tank for it!

Man, I miss riding... you guys are killing me!

I learned to ride at 6 years old riding one of these around my parents pool:

That's cool! Of course, these days your parents would be thrown in jail and you'd be placed in foster care if the authorities (or your nosy neighbors) found out about such a thing!

My uncle taught me how to ride on a late 70's Honda XR70. My grandparents also had an old Honda scooter that they let me ride around their circular driveway over and over for hours on end.

We made dust clouds in our old neighborhood when we were kids.

hahaha ain't that the truth! these days it'd be child endangerment - in our days it was called having fun and learning to ride!

my first experience was up in the mountains near Idlewild (so cal), my dad showed me the basic controls and said "go ride" that was it - I had to learn the rest on my own. Didn't do too bad the first time out considering I was riding on fire trails a dirt bike track and even the main road a bit to get to/from the campground we were at.

My son keeps pestering me to get him an electric bike. One of those bikes for 8-10 year olds. But I'm wondering-where is it legal to ride? Is it even worthwhile to buy --as I wouldn't want to drive all the way out somewhere nuts to let him ride. Plus isn't it hard to transports bikes?
