Soil Born Farms Annual Day On The Farm Coming May 17Th!

Save the date for our annual Day on the Farm Celebration!

 

Our spring fundraiser is a family favorite! Collaborating for the past seven years with our title sponsor Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, the intention of this event is to create an opportunity for families to visit the American River Ranch for a day of learning, eating, music, celebrating community and exploring the natural world.

 

For more information, call 916-363-9685.

 

The Day's Events Include:

Farm Stand (purchase fresh, local, organic vegetables and fruit)
Organic Plant Sale (select from a host of organic vegetables, culinary & medicinal herbs, flower starts and native plants)

Cooking Classes
Farm Tours
Workshops (learn about gardening, composting, native plants, herbs, beekeeping, cooking, raising chickens, and more)
Kid's Garden Activities
Community Education Tables
Morning Food, Snacks & Lunch
And Much More!

 

$5 per person (under 2 years old, free)

 

Location: American River Ranch; 2140 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova

Soilborn event is a little hard to find --    but it is well worth the effort.

 

Who knew the American River had such a beautiful preserved farm  and people preserving native plants.....

 

 

It's perfect for children.
