If there are any seniors who sit at home and look out of the window, perhaps they would enjoy the fun at Folsom's Senior Center M-F. Personally I go 4 or 5 times a week. The center offers a lot of camaraderie for people from 65 yrs,and up. The oldest member is 101, and she attends twice a week. There is always a full schedule. I especially enjoy being a member of the "Off Key Singers." However, there are a lot of activities for everyone. There have even been a few later in life marriages. Mostly everything is free including movie day, pizza day, monthly parties, and all the conversation and games you would want. So if you want to get out of the house, give the center a try. Lots of friendly people attend daily.
Several of us no longer drive, but if you live in Folsom, Dial A Ride will pick you up, and bring you to the center. Later they will come for you and take you home. Some care takers come with clients or bring them and pick them up. Don't let a little dementia stop you, you won't be alone.
