REDDING, Calif. —
Residents of Shasta County attended the Shasta County Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday morning to voice their opinions on the "Non-Sanctuary Jurisdiction Resolution."

All relating to California’s SB54 - a law signed by Governor Jerry Brown that puts limitations on state and local officials working with ice and federal immigration enforcement.....

I applaud this action by Shasta County California!!!!  They are removing a basis for future law suits filed by surviving family of citizens harmed or killed by illegal immigrants. Those law suits will be paid for by you and me...the California tax payers.

But more so, they are declaring their law enforcement will not try to interfere with ICE agents in arresting illegal immigrants for deportation.

We need more counties to stand up for the law.
