remember, the merger thing was what the chief and city quoted in the Bee. I have yet to hear from the employees of our fire department. maybe metro fire wants our department, but i bet our department does not want them. LETS VOTE. now thats my opinion.

The library staff dont want to merge with another entity. The want to separate from one, that is, the administrative services dept. and they want their director back.

Since you started this thread about the 2 previous threads I am surprised at this. FF's .... it was the FF part and not the Librarian......Is Sac Metro also trying to merge with the Library? That's new.

The Library wants to become its own department within the city. I don't know much about the Firefighter issues though so I should read up on them. I gather they are not happy with Eric Dutton though. I figure both Firefighters and the Library just want competent leadership, and seem to not have it currently.
