As the admin, I can make picks for you. Whether you give me some guidelines before hand or have access to something (email, text message) on your trip, I can get it in for you.

OK, here's my picks for all the world to see. Give me two 12 over 5 seeds in the first with one of the 12's 9you pick) going onto the Sweet 16.

Other than that, I see Stanford going to the Sweet 16, UCLA to the Final 8, UNC and Kansas in the championship game, unless they're on the same side of the draw. If that occurs, I've got UCLA in the finals.

I see the Big 10 going out soon (although MSU could pose some problems for folks) and Duke out possibly before the Sweet 16, since they are so reliant on the 3.

Besides Kansas, Texas should get to the Final 8 out of the Big 12. Do not, under any circumstances, have a 1 losing to a 16.

I can see a lot of upsets, since the mid-majors seem pretty darn good this year. I may try to post on Saturday or Sunday to narrow it down (if possible).

You could have PM'd me tongue.gif

You don't want to leave any "you picks" in there. I don't really follow college ball that much. I'll just let my wife pick the one with pretty colors.

I did call two 12 over 5 seeds as well as Duck... er, Duke out early. Too bad I wasn't around to make my picks.

I don't understand the scoring system. I've picked the most winners, yet I am ranked 3rd. What gives?

I don't understand it either and I doubt I'm still #1, but I had to enjoy it while it lasted.

I am listed as # 1, but not for long because I had georgetown in my final 4. Even though I do not understand the scoring system, I like it a lot because its just like March Madness--- unpredictable. Last year (in a different yahoo pool), I went from 5th and last place to first place finish when Florida won the Championship.

I used to absolutely hate the Jim Harrick/Steve Lavin days of UCLA, but now I am picking them to go all the way because ben Howland is a brilliant coach.

For each correct game picked, you get points for the seed rather than progressively higher points per round. I.e. you pick a #12 over a #5 in the first round and the #12 wins, you get 12 points, if you picked the #5 and they win you get 5 points, etc.

This system makes it interesting, but gives almost no weight to those who pick the final 4 and the champion. If you have a #1 seed going all the way, you only get 1 point for each win.

The site gives us a few scoring options. I almost made it the round times the seed or the round plus the seed or some other round multiplier. I just wanted to make it different than last year and adding the seed was the least complex and confusing.

Next time speak-up when I post about the scoring system and ask for feedback. wink.gif

+100. I like this system because its completely unpredictable just like March madness. Last year, in another yahoo poll, I jumped from 4th to first place after Florida won. I honestly have no clue about how the scoring works, but just as the madness, I like the come from behind upsets.

In fact, this year, I predict that someonelse besides me (the current #1) will take the myfolsom.com crown in the end. I predict it could be Steve.

BTW, who won last years bragging rights?????
