I will be kicking all your asses thanks to my in-depth football knowledge. By the way, WTF is a cornerback?

Okay, okay. Chargers 31, Bears 13. biggrin.gif

I hate to break it to you, but when Norv Turner becomes a Head Coach of ANY team, the team declines and declines fast.

LT or no LT, the Chargers will not be the same as they have been the past 2 seasons. AND Philip Rivers is WAAAAY over rated

Grossman will continue to struggle, and the Bears DT position will be demolished by SD's great offensive line, and Tomlinson, of course. The Chargers will win easily...I just hope the Bears can score.

Yeah, what's up with Norv?

Great offensive football mind. His players love him, until he becomes the head coach.

Hah! My cat could coach that team to 11 or 12 wins this year.

A great football mind. West-coast offense. Always liked the way he prowled the sidelines.

Oh, I'm sure he's like Macavity, the mystery cat. Sure, he slinks up and down the sidelines with ease and tries to be non-chalant, but I've been watching that cat. The whole league has. We don't trust him. Yeah, when he wins, he's the life of the party, but when he loses, "Macavity's not there".

As an Offensive Coordinator he's "Big Bad Norv Turner". Behind the scenes the guy's an offensive jugernaut.

When he becomes a Head Coach, he shrivels into the 10lb weakling alter ego "Eugene Norvill Turner" from the Antioch, Ca Turner Family.

Can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

It remains a mystery to me *shrug*

Wow, a little early to be hittin' the beer, isn't it?? Chargers 27, Bears 6. Chargers are favored by 6...no way the Grossman-led Bears cover that point-spread. It could get ugly.

Chargers 24... Bears 17.

Bears defense... 1 INT returned for a TD.

Grossman... sacked 4 times... 1 fumble... 2 INTs.

The Ouija board told me.

If the pressure of the Chargers gets to Grossman he'll be the ex-Bears lead QB, though he's really looking forward to the game. He's been looking good in practice, just has to handle the pressure of the game on gameday. Griese's looking good, even for a former-Wolverine.

Grossman feels he's got his mechanics down pat this year. Even though he posted some bad games, he had some awesome games, too, so don't forget he's capable of great things. In four of the first five games last year, he had a passers rating 98 or higher. If he gets his game on, watch out. He's not a first season starter anymore.

Regardless, the Bears depth will keep the Chargers from outscoring the Bears by your proposed 21 points.
