MC Hammer show
Free with admission to fair
He still has some debt
Gravitron goes 'round
Tilt-a-whirl spins on axis
I'm too old for this
The prized strawberries
Are all wilted from the sun
Still gets blue ribbon
Second grader pix
In all their structured glory
Are up for display
Thoroughbred racing
Not like the harness racing
We usually have
Wiener dog races
Go little hot dog, go fast!
Awww, you got confused
Single fryer buns
It will make a good pet, right?
No, it's for frying
This quilt took 6 months
This rose garden took 8 months
Judging takes 2 secs
Kal ee forn ee ah
The sunshine state is the best
Just ignore budget
FFA Children
Are sleeping in their lawn chairs
Hoping pig stays clean
Egg rolls on a stick
Gotta love the fried foods here
Deep fry my veggies
That cow is pregnant
I can see the hooves stick out
It won't be long now
Stubborn goat won't move
PETA banned the hooks we use
Get a clue, PETA

I will dance with abandon...
Shame follows "footwork"
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive" -- C.S. Lewis
If the only way to combat "global warming" was to lower taxes, we would never hear of the issue again. - Anonymous

These haikus, what a pleasant
Way to pass the time:
Sweating and eating;
And then drinking and puking.
I always leave sick
Ferris wheel goes round
Up high into the night sky
On top of the world
Cotton candy, corn dogs
Only in America
Food on sticks abound
Golden bears stand guard
Over fried treats, toothless car-
nies, barking vendors
I come for the treats,
cows, races, deals, I stay for
the people watching
ugh it’s too dam hot
buy myself a frozen treat
should have come later...
Dragg’d through the tool show
But then it’s my turn, weiner
Races here I come!
Aging rockstars serve
To remind us that as they
Go, so goes our youth

State Fair is hot and boring
But I like free stuff
Plus one - what he says.
Free stuff is always better.
But nothing is "free."

With which tickets can be won.
State fair, here we come?
This calls for Cotton
Candy treats all around! Try
To keep from puking.
Hope to see Hammer
STOP! Carny-Time. Maybe win
Cheap prizes for kids.
When does it open?
Hope schedule is clear, or all
Haiku gone to waste.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

The number of syllables
In their Haiku poems
How do you pronounce
Poems? It's a two syllable word
Right? Haiku Po-ems?
If so, then yours has
A touch of ironic flair
And humor to boot.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.
