We went to Tandoori Nights in Roseville for lunch a couple of weeks ago. This restaurant offers India/Pakistani style food. The menu was decent with some nice selection of traditional recipes. We visited the restaurant first when it was opened about a year ago. Our first experience was very positive even though it was a carry out . Being vegetarians, our choices are limited. We ordered Vegetable Biryani and Baingan Bharta curry.

However, our second experience was not quite upto the mark. We ordered the same Vegetable Biryani but this time we found it more oily and also the quantity of the food received appeared to be smaller. We are not sure if this had anything to do with carry out vs eat in order. From a pricing perspective, it is very good as compared to some of the other restaurants in town. I would recommend this once to any one interested Indian food.

good to know - we often have coworkers who are vegetarians and we're at a loss at where to take them. Mylapore in Folsom is a great place if you are in to vegetarian Indian food too.
