My parents are on the lookout for a young (under 3) male yellow lab to adopt.  Please let me know if you know of anyone who might need to rehome their pet.

Thanks,

Celeste

Thanks all.  I've checked out those resources and thought also to go the private route.  Thanks for sending me onto good resources. :-)

Golden Gate Lab rescue has 2 young male white labs available. They are 15 months old. Here's the website. Look at Available Labs. I got mine from them,

Might they consider puppy raising for Guide Dogs for the Blind? Or adopting a career change lab?

I've been working with a local "Puppies with Promise" group for 1-1/2 years... These dogs are AWESOME!

Don't forget to check www.homewardboundgoldens.org/‎ . We actually picked up our black lab from them after having to put our Golden down last year. They have a listing of available dogs on their website with backstory, ages and what type of home would be appropriate... great people!

Career Change dogs from Guide Dogs are few and far between. I've been on that list for over a year. When they happen(not often), donors get preference. If you are in any kind of hurry, you will probably need to find other sources.
