I've been bored recently with American movies and TV (with some exception).

I've been looking for something different to watch and thoroughly enjoyed (via a streaming service) the Korean romantic drama "Winter Sonata" - http://en.wikipedia....i/Winter_Sonata

I developed a real empathy for the main characters and became somewhat engrossed in the mini-series, finishing all 20+ hours in a weekend.

If you like tear jerker, romantic dramas, you might consider this, even though sub-titled. Acoustic background music was nice too.

OMG. I need to suspend my man card.

There were some very nice musical pieces in the series. Just listening to the soundtrack gets me choked up. What's wrong with me? Nothing has touched me like this before.

This is actually the second installment of an unrelated tetralogy. "Autumn in my heart" is the first installment. The story and the music was touching as well. While Winter was more of a romantic drama with touches of tragedy, Autumn is more tragic with touches of romance.
