I am sick of the panic the talking heads (the "vetted journalists" as Vinny calls them) are spreading about Covid. THERE IS NO WAY TO TELL THE MORTALITY RATE if you don't know how many people are infected. People with mild symptoms do not seek care and are not counted as covid infected.

So, to quote another post, THIS is who should fear Covid,   "old, male, smokers in densely populated urban areas with high levels of air pollution, and who were already seriously unhealthy."

 

If this doesn't not apply to you, stop panicking, stop listening to the newsreaders who have ZERO medical knowledge, stop panic buying rice and toilet paper, stop closing businesses and schools, stop declaring states of emergency, and go live your life like any other day during flu season.  FFS people, get a grip...

World-wide statistics came out today.

 

Infected cases - 132,000

Deaths            -     5,000

 

Incidence        -     3.8 %   (MANY times higher than the flue.)

 

Seems like the second health crisis is Trump suppressing tests just so he doesn't look bad.

We should be testing 10,000 to 20,000 every day.
Instead we are only testing a few dozen a day. Why?

Thank God Pelosi is pushing testing in the emergency program!
