I work as an expo at the Purple Place bar and grill off green valley road in el dorado hills at the edge of folsom. I'm new to the area and I love my new job. The people who work there are fantastic and I think the owners are wonderful. I think its great because each month we have different bands come in and play old rock, new rock classics and more! Its a great place to eat as well, even if you don't want to listen to the bands. It is 21 and up in the bar during the nights that the bands play. But its a great place to eat, enjoy the morning or evening and do something on a saturday night. So, come in any time! And come in and check out our bands that are playing this month!

Our new menue is coming out on the 18th of this month...stop by and see whats new at the Purple Place!!

Haha. I get that a lot. expo is expediter. Basically I'm that girl infront of the kitchen window who tends to all the food. I make sure you order is correct, the cooks are timeley, everything looks like it should (wish i could taste it too!! haha) and then i sometiems help deliever the food if your server needs it. I also help those who are at the bar on the family side of the restraunt and such things...so...if your food goes out to you with onions and you said no onions and the server put no onions on the ticket...i'm in trouble wacko.gif

I prefer Catsup myself.

Are they doing any music (jazz?) or karaoke on Thursday nights?

Not that I am aware of tonight. I'm on my way to work now and don't believe we are. We do have a music jukebox where you can select music and sing to yourself...in the corner...int he back... haha just kidding. The bar does have a machine for music, but its not karaoke. I'm sure it has Jazz.
But no, tonight i don't believe there is anything going on.

They have an online menu. I've only been there once, but I'd say its fine to bring kids for breakfast/lunch... not so much dinner (it's biker bar ish)

My husband takes our girls there for breakfast sometimes on the weekend and they love it. They come back full and happy... and if you knew what picky eaters they are you would be impressed!

I love really, really cold Del Monte Ketchup or better yet Dijon mustard with my very hot fries.

And there is no value to my post - now I'm craving fries, steaming hot fries, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a dash of salt....
