The Folsom Housing market started out the first quarter of 2019 with a somewhat-expected whimper.
We typically see a dip in prices too, and the average price per square foot was down to $259, the lowest since May of last year

Good report Steve. Thanks...! $259 a square foot... Not bad if you are a home owner. Not great if you are not... With solar and larger lots I am thinking like $310 to $314 a square foot... At least that is the case in my digs.... Regards, Chris

Hey Chris, that's actually down from $271 per foot a couple of months ago, and I'm thinking it will rise again with the spring and lower rates.
$310+ is hard to get unless your home is small, or luxury.
Since Feb 1, 43 homes have sold for over $300 per square foot. Only 8 were over 2000 sq ft, and 4 had lots over 1/4 acre. 2 were over 3900 sq ft. 2 were noted to have solar.
The market is size and amenity specific. If you PM me I'll give you a gestimate of your value.
