Hey gang -

I'm happy to announce our impending release of MyFolsom.com 4.0. It will have our first major addition to the site since the forum was added to the site, back in 2002. As part of this release, we want to have a customer appreciation party! Come on out and see what's new, get some free food, catch up with your MyFolsom friends.

Details:
Date: Thursday, March 22, 2007, 6-8 pm
Location: Taqueria La Mexicana, 313 Iron Point Road (located in the Century Folsom theater parking lot, formerly Sharky's)

We'll have drawings every 15 minutes for door prizes:
- Cash Money!
- gift cards!
- gift certificates!
- free stuff!

Come on out - it should be another great event!

I would love to go, but will be in Indian Wells. Save me some carne asada. smile.gif

We're all over it. I, uh, think. Thursdays are always a little shaky for us. Would LOVE to be there.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.
We could not be doing this without you.
Much love and gratitude.

Looks good so far. Close enough to walk so I can even have a margarita. drinks.gif

Hey everyone, if you can make it, please RSVP in this thread! We're just trying to get an accurate headcount. I know there will be a lot of "anonymous pop-ins", but it helps to have a good estimate. smile.gif

I would love to go to this event, but this is the same day we are scheduling games for the upcoming baseball season. Congrats on the new release!

how does it work? I mean you aren't really anonymous anymore when you go to a function, right?

Well... you could just show up and grab a ticket for our door prizes and eat some dinner, casually observe from afar, and not tell anyone you are "supermom"... and then swipe your winnings and leave. We won't tell. smile.gif We actually had quite a few people show up to Carvel last year to get the free ice cream and leave. Nothing wrong with that.

However, if you are bold enough, you could even grab a name tag so somebody could see you were "supermom" and you may even make a new friend! It's up to you. There will be quite a few non-MyFolsomites showing up for dinner, you could just pretend you just happened upon this event! wink.gif

You can keep your anonymity by identifying yourself but not letting anyone know what your screenname is. I think I did that at the first myfolsom pizza party I attended. Back when only a couple of people knew.

^erm, no.

The free food is mainly free drinks and desserts. If you want to order dinner, you'll have to order that separately. We'll have free "giveaway' stuff (pens, etc) for all, and every 15 minutes, a drawing for a gift certificate or prize. At the end of the event, we'll draw for a prize pack with $50 cash and some other stuff.
