How large a wok are we talking? The largest I've seen advertised so far is 16"; that's the one I have and we ordered it from www.wokshop.com out of San Francisco.

There are 3 fantastic restaurant supply stores that carry what you need right here in Sacramento. They are all within a block or two of each other too. You need to drive down to the area of Richards Blvd and Hwy 160. The stores are:
Crestco, Economy Restaurant Supply and East Bay Restaurant Supply.
Each store has their own specialty. For reasonably priced restaurant pans like the ones you mentioned I would go with Crestco and Economy first. East Bay carries the more expensive brands of pans.
Good luck and happy cooking!

Try Sam's Club. I can't say that I've seen that specific item, but I do know that they have some commercial kitchen items in stock. I like commercial omelette pans myself.

For a large wok i would go to Economy Restuarant supply....50west, get off at richards blvd, make aright and go about a mile. A mile further is Cresco Restaurant supply...biggest selection of them all but economy is run by asians and have more items with cultural flare. 5th street restaurant supply is good, excellent customer service but only go there if u need to order items or need consulting on stuff. But heck...a wok sounds pretty easy to get. Let me know is u are unsucsessful, I can order one direct from my food service provider at work. I could have it by tuesday. Blessings.

This month my schedule is extremely hectic with additional errands and committments that I will be doing all at once, so I would have to meet you there. I plan to be in the downtown area on Saturday in the early afternoon. I will also be downtown on Monday afternoon and could meet you then. If that works, great. There are ways to get there without getting on the freeway.
Assuming you know the surface streets needed to get downtown, here is a route.
Get on I Street and go almost to I-5/Old Sacramento. In the area of the Sacramento County Jail (a huge, 8 story concrete jail that will be on your right), turn right (northbound) on 7th Street. 7th Street will get you to Richards Blvd. From there, you have access to Economy, Cresco and East Bay.
PM me if you want to meet there. If my times don't work out, at least you now know the back streets to get there.
